Not sure if it's that. Could be standard for the people that occupied here.

Possible. If they're all a problem I don't mind standing watch. I'm pretty formidable and anyone looking to get them would have a tough time getting past me.

However I'm not convinced they're recreational. Just might be adapted to people looking to get by? I don't know.
